The project LABORATORY HEALTH AND SAFETY LLL COURSES FOR YOUTH IN WEST AND EAST GEORGIA (CoLLLab) is supported by EU (ENI/2020/417-316).
 
The project aims to improve competencies and employability of young professionals dealing with laboratory services in Tbilisi, as well as Adjara, Imereti and Kakheti regions.
 
The goals of the project include: to support young professionals by creating and launching the Life Long Learning (LLL) courses in Laboratory Health and Safety; to strengthen human capacity of Georgian Universities as Laboratory Health and Safety LLL course providers by introducing the training of trainers’ (ТoT) course; to increase awareness and knowledge of various stakeholders (e.g. private and public labs, various industry, educational institutions, etc) by creating the common e-platform/knowledge forum; to contribute to increasing interaction between youth and employer market by creating the on-line employment/career guidance hub.
The project consortium members with the overall coordination by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) are presented by State Laboratory of Agriculture (SLA), L.Sakvarelidze National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), and Georgian Biotechnology Association (GeBA). The final beneficiaries include four Georgian Universities, namely TSU, Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU), Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU), and Iakob Gogebashili Telavi State University (TeSaU), where four demo laboratories will be established and adequately equipped in order to provide the high quality courses in Laboratory Health and Safety.
